On our farm we combine Joel Salatin style animal husbandry with Jean Martin and ELLIOT COLEMAN inspired market gardening. This means that we rotate our animals in a strategic path around our farm to not only give each animal its best life possible, but also to use the animals to work the land and add nutrient density back into the soil.

Meet the Farmers

  • Farmer Jon

Lead Agriculturist, Livestock Manger, Chef. Dad.

Rooted in the desire for better ingredients, Jon brings a culinary background to farming. He has paired a strong work ethic with his study of kung fu and wushu. Taking the paraphrased Chinese proverb “It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war.” Literally, Jon has taken to the life of a Warrior-Gardener.

  • Farmer Lyndsey

Agriculturist, Livestock Hand, Logistician, Marketer. Momma.

Fueled by her desire to improve her failing health, Lyndsey decided that the best way to nourish her body, mind and soul was to jump right into regenerative farming. She has never looked back and is all the better for it!

  • Farmer Charlotte

Pure FASHIONISTA at heart, Charlotte loves taking care of her small flock of sheep. She loves setting up a new, lush grazing area for Dusty and Brownie with a comfy chair and good book for herself.

  • Farmer Chase

Chase is a sweet, hardworking farmer. Collecting eggs and construction projects are his favorite part of farm life.

  • Farmer Hunter

Hunter LOVES the outdoors and anything active. He can show you all the hiking trails and the BEST ways to play on the farm.

  • Farmer Maverick

Maverick is a curious and adventurous, toddling farmer. He gives the BEST tours and hugs and can tell you exactly what is edible and what is not on our land as he is a natural born forager.

A farm includes the passion fo the farmer’s heart, the interest of the farm’s customers, the biological activity of the soil, the pleasantness of the air about the farm — it’s everything touching, emanating from, and supplying that piece of landscape. A farm is virtually a living organism.
